Snap Overwatch up while it's cheap!
The Nintendo Switch version of Overwatch was only officially announced earlier this month - with a release date of October 15th too - but you can already secure a copy of the Blizzard shooter for under £25.
ShopTo has the digital version of the Overwatch Legendary Edition on Switch for just £23.85.
As a handy bonus, you also get three months' Nintendo Switch Online
membership included in the price. That would usually set you back around
£7 - cheers luvs!
By comparison, you'll have to spend £34.99 for a copy from Amazon UK or $39.99 from Amazon US.
The Switch port of the game contains everything that you'd expect
from the existing versions, including all heroes, maps and game modes
released so far. The one new addition is the option to control some
abilities, such as Junkrat's Rip Tire, with the console's in-built
motion controls. Sounds neat, but it will no doubt be forgotten about
after the first game - or as soon as it decides to steer the tire off a
cliff instead of the into the pile of enemies on the payload.
You
might also be keen to know that, as Overwatch on Switch is just being
sold as a download code, it requires a massive 16GB of storage space at
least. If you're relying on installing the game to the console's measly
32GB internal storage, you might want to consider picking up a microSD
card to give you some extra room for all your other Switch games.
